Music Therapy is an allied health profession that uses music as the therapeutic medium to address non-musical goals. Desired behavioral, emotional, cognitive, social, communicative, sensory and/or physical outcomes are attained through a variety of musical interventions such as singing, song writting, instrument manipulation, music listening, improvisation and lyric analysis.
Individualized Adaptive Singing, Guitar, and Piano Lessons are a great way to help those with difficulty learn the appreciation for music. Each individual is actively involved in the music making process in each and every session. Active music making is an integral part of music therapy, as is "live music"!
